![]() As a sixth grade we have been studying the instances of injustice that have occurred in both our nation's past, as well as those occurring throughout the rest of the world. We have begun to learn about many of the men and women who have fought to bring an end to injustice through various means. We are fortunate that there was a recent film that told the story of a group of female, African-American mathematicians who are the minds behind the final calculations that helped NASA put a man into outer space. We will be leaving HUES next Thursday, January 26th and traveling to Cinemagic in Merrimack to watch a private screening of this film. Going home today is the permission slip and health form. We ask that this be filled out and returned, as well as a check (made out to Hollis Upper Elementary), or cash in the amount of $13. The students know that there will be no snack bar, so additional money will not be needed for this trip! Thank you all so much!
