  • Competition - A relationship between organisms that strive for the same resources in the same place
  • Carnivores - eats meat
  • Consumers - can not make their own food
  • Decomposers - break down dead plants and animals into component parts, including nutrients
  • Ecosystem - a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment.
  • Food Chain - sequence of organisms in which each depends on the next, and the lower members are a source of food.
  • Food Web - interconnected food chains of producer, consumers, and apex predators
  • Grazers - Feed on living organisms without killing them
  • Herbivores - eat plants
  • Intraspecific Competition - competition which occurs between members of the same species
