Dear Parents,
The time, unfortunately, is coming. Very soon I must give you back your children. The same children you confidently entrusted to my care last fall. I shall give them back inches taller, months wiser, more responsible, and more mature than they were then. Although they would have attained this growth in spite of me, it has been my absolute pleasure and privilege to watch as their personality unfolded day by day. It is with great reluctance that I give them back, for after having spent the last one-hundred and eighty days together in the confines of a classroom, we have all grown close, have become part of something great - a classroom family. We have lived, loved, laughed, played, read, studied, learned, tested, and enriched our lives together this year. I wish I could go on indefinitely, but give them back I must. Remember that I shall always be interested in your children and their journey through school; wherever they go, whatever path they take. I will always be happy to celebrate their successes along the way. To celebrate a year of success and growth we are planning our final celebration of the year for this Friday, June 15th. The celebration will begin first thing in the morning, around 8:45, and should lead us right up to the 6th grade promotion at 10:00. I thank you all for an amazing year and I wish you nothing but the very best next year! I look forward to seeing you all on Friday! All the best, Mr. Pooler
