Homework for 10/6/20

Homework for Tuesday, October 6th, 2020

• Reading - Make sure you have taken the quiz for Hatchet chapters 1-3 and completed your comprehension questions from yesterday!
• Math - Workbook page 23, questions 19-27 (odds), and the 1.1 and 1.2 review work for those students who met with me for remediation. 
• Writing - Be sure you have answered the following questions as you brainstorm and prepare for your own scary story:
  
  • "Where might your story take place? What words or phrases will you use to reveal the characteristics of your unknown thing (e.g. it seemed to know where I was, all the time, whenever it was there, I felt it's helplessness)? To which senses do you want it to appeal (e.g. smelled like a damp basement, created a cold sweat upon my neck)?
• Social Studies - Finish working on your Scavenger Hunt from yesterday. I will be going over the answers to this tomorrow, so you need to have it ready to go!
