![]() Another great day is officially in the books. It was a very busy day, but I'm happy to report that we accomplished everything that we set out to do. We came together as a HUES community this morning for a welcome speech from Mrs. Fowler and an introduction, for many of the kids, to Officer Bergeron who will be teaching DARE to the 6th graders this year. We had great discussions about everything from classroom economics to creating histograms after polling the class. We voted on, and created, our final classroom jobs and worked with Mrs. Boudreau to get our Google drive accounts cleaned up and ready for 6th grade. We talked a lot about reading with agency and becoming experts. Together we read a great piece of work by Langston Hughes! I'm looking forward to continuing this great work tomorrow as well! Have a great night, folks! Homework for Thursday, September 8th, 2016
